Muhurat Session: Movements likely to be listless

The volume of business in the short one-hour Muhurat Session that will usher in Samvat 2073, is likely to be thin as institutional investors may well stay away from the market. Activity will be stock specific with second quarter results and other corporate news providing some direction. Ahead of release of October sales and shipments data, shares of automobile and cement companies may see some action. Some buying is likely in midcap and smallcap segments, but stock may find it tough to hold at higher levels. FMCG stock Nestle will be in focus thanks to robust results. Movements will be quite listless at several counters.
